How to get to Puerta Azul in Vejer
It is right in the centre, between the La Cobijada viewpoint and Vejer Castle. It is an ideal spot. More precisely, it is located in what is known as the “closed gate” of the town wall. If you want to locate it within the town as a whole, you can also check where Vejer de la Frontera is.

What is Puerta Azul in Vejer de la Frontera?
Vejer’s iconic blue door does not belong to the town wall or the castles. It is the entrance to holiday apartments, so it can only be viewed from the outside.
It has become a popular spot for photographs because of its position and the way its colour stands out, but it is not a particularly “significant” part of the town.
